The Hardy and McRae Families School
Theourn Lika is a 12-year-old 5th grade student of the Hardy and McRae Families School. She has two sisters: her younger sister is studying in grade 2 at this school. Her father is in the army and her mother is a housewife. Her house is about 1 kilometer from the school. She comes to school by bicycle.
“I am happy to learn at this new school building because the old school building was wooden; it would flood when it rained. Now it’s a concrete school building. When I study in this new school building, I have a chance to learn about computers and English,” she said.
“My favorite subject is computer lessons because, when I want to write, it’s quicker then hand writing,” she said.
“I want to be a medical doctor because then I can help patients,” she added.
