Sapeur Buntear is the 45-year-old chief of the school village. He has seven children, two of them are married.
“In the past there is a school in the communal town of Poy, about 4 kilometers from my village. And now a new school has been built in my village. It is easier for the children in my village to study, but some of them are still at home. They don’t come to school to study.”
“My opinion is that the knowledge is the precious property for the human being. All the village children should enjoy studying at the new school. I have appealed several times to their parent at the meeting, and I will continue to do so to get them to school.”
“In the time being, my village is a poor village because there are no educated people. Now, we have a new school that will produce the human resource to help develop my village. I hope it will help, but I can not predict when.”
