Mr. Neug Heuk is the 59-year-old principal of The Jack and Helen King School. His house is near the school, about 50 meters away and he walks to school every day.
He has eight children: three children got married and five children go to school. His wife is a member of the forestry community. She works as a volunteer.
In 1977 he lived in the La Inn village. He was a teacher in this village. He continued to be a teacher in La Inn for years. In 1982, he received extra training of teaching on primary school teaching methods.
“In 2007, I was promoted to principal of the present school,” Mr. Neug Heuk said.
“All school children feel very happy to come to school in this nice new building. The school is in the middle of the village and close to their homes. In the past the students studied in a very small building made of wood with only a thatch roof. Now the children love to study more and their parents have participated fully in the school development,” Mr. Neug Heuk added.
