The school donors wear flower bouquets and scarves offered by the villagers after arriving on a small chartered helicopter on the way to attend the school opening ceremony, held on 20th December 2004. Buddhist monks give blessing as the school donors and Cambodian dignitaries pay respect in the early stage of the opening ceremony.

H.E. Kol Pheng, minister of Education, Youth and Sports, pins the Golden Medal of National Construction to Mr. David W. Rudlin who built a school for Cambodian children.

On the platform, the school donors give a symbolic gift of school supplies and sport equipment to 10 boys and 10 girls.


Ms. Julia M. Rudlin cuts the red ribbon to inaugurate the school building while the Minister holds the ribbon to assist her.


Mr. David W. Rudlin cuts the red ribbon as the Minister helps by stretching out the ribbon.


A scene of the school village from the air as hundreds of people see the donors off after the ceremony and as the donors fly back to Phnom Penh by a chartered helicopter. The helicopter circled the school village twice to allow the donors take photographs.
