Mrs. Ray Mom is the 33-year old chief of the school committee. She is also the 2nd grade teacher at the Louise Zlatic Kielbik School. She is married and has two children. Her husband is one of the high school teachers.
“The old school does not have enough rooms for the students to study in and the tables are also in bad shape. They sometimes broke when children sat at them.”
“About 15 % of the children in the village do not come to school because they are poor. Their parents need them to help in farming or doing other business for income to subsidize their living condition.”
