The Marjorie and Elwood Malos School
Chim Nead is 12 years old and a 5th grade student at the Majorie and Elwood Malos School. She has two siblings; she is the youngest child in the family. Her parents are farmers in the school’s village. Besides their work in the field they also distill palm juice as an extra source of income. She was ranked number one out of her 12 classmates.
“Since the school has an English teacher and English teaching is free for me and the other students in this school, I like English lessons best. Now I can learn a foreign language and computer science, these subjects I never knew before. I hope I will get good school results and become a doctor when I grow up” Nead said.
