The Marjorie and Elwood Malos School
Rouen Sororn is 15 years old and a 6th grade student of the Majorie and Elwood Malos School. Sororn has five siblings; he is the eldest child in his family. His parents are farmers in the school’s village and also raise cattle to earn extra income. He is one of the bestmstudents in the school and always gets the highest ranking among his 20 classmates.
“I like history as a subject, because I can learn about the different history subjects and especially Khmer history, what I want to know”, Sororn said. “When I grow up I want to be a teacher like my teacher, because then I can teach and share my knowledge with other children in my village”, he added.
