The Phom O KEC School
Soum Lady is an 11-year-old 4th grade student of the Phom O KEC School. She has two other siblings and her parents are both farmers. Her house is about 1kilometer from the school. She comes to school on foot.
”I am very happy to learn at this new building because I have a chance to learn about Computer and English. Unfortunately, in the normal state schools there aren’t enough teachers enough to teach these types of lessons,” she said.
”I want to be an English teacher when I grow up because it is a good job and in this job it is easy to earn money. I can open private classes in my spare time for example,” Soum Lady said.
