Berry School
Mr. Bun Savorn is the 34-year-old principal of the Sophy Joy Berry and Mark Sopha Berry school. He is married with five children; all of them attend school that is near to their home. His wife is a farmer; she does rice farming one time a year in the wet season.
“After I finished high school in my home town in 1988, I attended the pedagogy school ( Teacher Training Center ) in Svay Rieng for two years (1988 -1989). The following year, I was assigned to teach at a primary school for 17 years. In 2003 I was promoted to principal of the Sophy Joy Berry and Mark Sopha Berry School until today,” He said.
“With my experiences of 17 years of teaching primary school in all subjects, I have found the student centered, group discussion, integrating good and poor students, and letting them exchange their knowledge are the best methodogies to make our children progress.”
