Kem Lieng, 46, the village chief, has eight children including a daughter who is a student at this school.
 

In Their Own Words …

“I only studied until the third grade and am just able to read and write. I sent my daughter to school and am encouraging her to study hard because I want her to gain more knowledge and skills than me. I feel the younger generation needs education and skills like what they are getting at their school. Otherwise they will live outside their society."
