The Diane Daniel School

Than Sithath is in sixth grade at the school.

In Their Own Words. .

On the new building: “I am happy with the new school building because things are easier than before with it.”

On school subjects: “I like coming to school because I want to gain knowledge and schools provide that.  I like to study mathematics because it is easy to calculate.  I don’t like social science because it is very difficult to remember the stories.”

On her hobbies: “Besides studying, I like to help my parents.  I like to get my friends to read books because we try to remember the lessons.”

On her family: “I am 14 years old.  I have three younger sisters.  Two are studying at this school, in fourth and first grade.  My youngest sister is not in school yet.  My mother is a housewife, and my father is a farmer and motorbike-taxi driver.”

On her future: “I want to be a seller in the future so that I can earn enough money to support my parents.”

Message to the donor:  “I thank the Christensen Fund very much and wish them good luck.”
