The Develo Techno School
Mr. Am Sok is the director of the Develo Techno School. The signboard reads:
“Donated by: Develo Techno and Social Fund 2002.”
| On himself: | I am is fifty years old. I’ve been a teacher since 1980, and a director for eight years. I teach first grade in the afternoons. I am married with eight children. Four of them attend the Deveo Techno School. My home is two kilometers from the school. I cover the distance in ten minutes on my motorcycle.

| On the new building: |
I am very happy with the new building. The student body has increased by over two hundred students, from 623 to 853. Attendance has improved as well. There are more students studying and the students are studying more. Before the new building, classes were held in a pagoda or under a tree. It was worst for those under the tree, usually first grade. Whenever it would rain, classes were cancelled. I only requested one building. When Social Fund came, they decided that two schools were needed, because there were so many students. So now I’m doubly happy. |
