Foundation School

(November, 2001)

Mr. Muol Srem is the director of the Sampong Nippon Foundation School.  He has been a school director for 2 years.

In Their Own Words. . .

On the new building: “I like this new building very much because it is wonderful to have a school building at last.  Before, we taught the students under a house in the village.  The family was very kind to let us have class there, but it was very complicated and difficult, especially during the rainy season.”

On school subjects: “It is very important for my students to learn about morality, dignity, Khmer traditions and customs, and all the things that we teach as part of social science.  In this way, we can avoid fighting and bad actions in the future.”
