O Cham Long Nippon Foundation School

Heng Chantha is a 12-year old boy. He is studying at the 4th grade of the school and he got number 4 in the first semester of this year among his 34 classmates. He has seven sisters and brothers. Only him in his family comes to study at the new school. He walks to school everyday for his house is about 200 meters away from the school.

“In the school, I am good in numbers,” he said. “The subject of math is easier for me,” he said. “After math, I am good in the social studies, easy to answer the questions without difficult words,” he said.

“At the old school, the iron sheets on the roof are broken and can not study when it rains,” he said. “Now we have a new school, I am happy for we will not meet obstacles when it rains,” he said.

“After I finish this primary school I will continue my study at a junior high school in the district town,” he said.

When he grows up, he wants to be a teacher. “I want to teach the young generation. Teaching them as learned by us,” he said.

Message to donor: “I would like to thank the donor for building a new school for me to study in and wish them good health and happiness,” he said.
