Mr. Hok Chhieng is a 42 year-old- farmer who lives down the street from the Daun Bar Nippon Foundation School.

My wife and I are both farmers because there’s no other option. We have three children, and two of them are studying at this school.

This village has never had a school like this. Before this school came, the students had problems finding a place to study after they finished third grade. Many children continued with their study in another district, but that school is two kilometers away from here. But if they wanted to study they had to go. I used to feel frustrated that we didn’t have a good school for the students, but now I feel very happy that this village has a new school for our children |
