The Cambodia Rural School Project

The Kok Pon Nippon

Foundation School

Mrs. Sean Touch is a farmer near the Kok Pon Nippon Foundation School.

On herself: I am 44 years old. My husband and I are both farmers. I have one son and five daughters. Two of my daughters are married. Two of my children are studying at the new building in first and fifth grade, while the remaining two have stopped studying.

On the new building: “I am happy with the new building because it is bigger than the old school and made of strong concrete. At the old school, whenever it rained the kids couldn’t study because the rain would spray into the classroom. Now my children, like the other kids in this village, have a comfortable place to study. I thank the donor so much for giving us the new school building. We never expected that our village would develop like this.
