Ki Phal is fifty-four years old. She has one daughter. Her daughter attends fourth grade at the new school. Mrs. Ki is a farmer, and she farms two hectares of pumpkins and melons right next to the school.
| On the new building: | “I am very grateful for the new school. Now, our children can study closer to home. Before, there were no roads into this village. Now we have new roads, but because of them, the population of this area is swelling. Without a new school, we would have serious issues. Some children would have had to travel miles for school. Luckily, the new school came just in time.” |
