Chum Chea Amoury is a 9-year-old student studying at 3rd grade at the Masako Suiko School. She is ranked 12th among 20 students in her class. She has five siblings and her parents are farmers.

“I am good in Khmer literature because I study hard at home. I plan to continue studying until grade 12 and then enroll in hairdressing school because the hairdresser can earn more money than other jobs, I think.”

“If I have money, I would buy rice and sell it for profit because this business is a good business in my village.”

“If I have a chance to travel, I would like to go to the eastern province of Svay Rieng because it is my parents’ hometown.”
