Run Veasna is also a second grade student at the O Chrey Nippon Foundation School. Out of the thirty students in her class, she was ranked fifth. She is thirteen years old, and has four siblings. She comes to study at the new school together with her younger brother

On the new building: I am very happy to have a new school building to study in. In the old building, I sat uneasily.

On school subjects: I like studying Khmer, because we read and do exercises. Compared with other subjects, Khmer is also easier to understand. It is my favorite subject. Math is the most difficult subject. It deals with arithmetic and hard questions.

On her future: Teaching is an easy job. It doesn’t include hard labor and takes place inside a room, keeping out the sunshine. After primary school, I will attend high school and then higher education.
