Luok Da is a second grade student at the Sralao Torng Nippon Foundation School.
Out of the sixty students in his class, he was ranked number two.
| On himself: | I am thirteen years old. I have six siblings, and one of them is at this school together with me. My parents are both farmers. My father plants rice and my mother makes thatch to put on the roof that she sells. I help my mother to make the thatch and sometimes watch the cows.

| On the new building: | I am very happy with the new donated school. It is better than the old building because it is a concrete building, while the one before was made of wood. The worst problem used to be the rain that would drip in from the roof and disturb us. Right now I can study well.

| After primary school: |
I want to go to secondary school. I want to continue to learn. I want to be a teacher.
