The Pramath Dey Nippon

Foundation School

Mr. Buo Sao is the director of the Pramath Dey Nippon Foundation School.

On himself: I am thirty-two years old. I am married with two sons. One of them goes to school here. My wife sells vinegar, spices, etc. at the Kampong Thom Market. We live six hundred meters from school.

On teaching:

I have been a teacher since 1994, and director for three years. I love teaching. I teach the students that come from the four surrounding villages… I encourage the students to study hard by awarding the five highest-scoring students at each final exam two notebooks and a pencil.

On the new building: Before, we had a building with only three rooms. It was not enough space for all the students. Now there are enough rooms for everyone. Before we also only had 150 students. Now the student body has increased by almost 100%.
