Puth Sam An is a 16-year-old sixth grade student. He is the fifth child of a farming family of nine members. He and his sister come to study at the new school.
“At school, I like to study mathematics because it is easier than other subjects and I have always gotten a better score in this subject. For Khmer literature, it is very difficult because I have problems spelling and I make a lot of mistakes in dictation.”
“When I grow up, I want to be a farmer because I want to follow my parents’ job.”
