The Ezra Vogel School
Ou Sokear is a 12-year-old fifth grade student of the Ezra Vogel School. She is a second child
of a four child family. Her house is about 2 kilometers away from the school and she
rides a bicycle to school every day.
“I am Khmer nationality. I was born in Takeo province and my parents told me that my family moved to Ratanakiri 10 years ago.”
“I am very happy to be admitted to the Ezra Vogel School which offers computer and English lessons. Now I am studying computer and English lessons. Last year, I studied at the nearby school that has no computer and English program.”
“When I grow up, I want to be a teacher because I noted that the job of my present English teacher seems to be easy job that I can do. I like my English teacher for she is good in
teaching.”
