Vanna Khot is a 14-year old boy attending the 4th grade at the Aoba School. He has two other brothers and attends the school with his 11-year old sister. He lives fairly close by and normally walks to school.
“My parents make a living as farmers. I usually help them out by doing things such as watering the plants and feeding the animals.”
“My hobbies include watching TV and looking after my brothers and sisters.”
“My favorite subject in school is Khmer literature because it is easy to learn and study. I am currently ranked 4th in my class (40 students). I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up yet, and I don’t think I’d want to travel anywhere outside this village.”
