Rin Kao, a 10-year old 2nd grade student at the Alvash and Betsy Dearth School.

Un Srey is a 10-year old girl, studying in 2nd grade at the Alvash and Betsy Dearth School. She was ranked number four among her 35 classmates. She is the fifth children among her three sisters and two brothers. Three of them are studying in the new building and another one has not yet enrolled because is too young. Her father is a motor cycle taxi driver and her mother is a farmer.

“I am happy with the new building because it encourages me to come to study.”

“When I grow up I want to be a doctor because I want to cure the poor people.”

“When I have free time I like to read books in order to get new knowledge.”

“If I could go anywhere I would like to go to Sihanouk-ville because I want to see the beautiful beach there.”
