Sol Mor is a 15-year-old 2nd grade student

Sol Mor is a 15-year-old 2nd grade student. He is Jarai, one of the eight major tribal minorities that live in Ratanakiri. He has two brothers and two sisters. They all live with their mother who was divorced many years ago. All the boys in the family go to study at this new school. The girls are too young to attend the school, but they will enroll at the school when they are big enough.

“I am interested in studying because I think that my capacity will be built from learning through the school. And with the high capacity of the knowledge I get from school, I will get a good job in the future in order to help develop my village and my community.”

“All of my friends and I are very happy to have this new school and we love the teachers too.”

“When I grow up I want to be staff of an NGOs that works on development in rural villages.”
