Pov Hunchou is a 13-year-old grade 6 student at the Monique Brousseau School . She was ranked number 4 out of her 39 classmates in the second semester. She has five siblings; four sisters and one brother.

“My parents are farmers; we are always doing rice cultivation once a year in the wet season,” she said.

“My favorite subject is math because I am good at calculating and for me it is easy when the teacher give home work,” she said.

“I want to be a teacher when I grove up because I want to teach the young generation,” she said.

“I am very much interested in learning English and computer skill in the Monique Brousseau School as an additional program to the public school’s curriculum. If there was no such program I could not learn these two skills,” she said.
