Vy Srey Von is 14 year old, and she is in grand 7 at koh rk secondary school in Koh Rka village, Koh Rka commune, Peam Cher district, Prey Veng province.
SeryVen has two sister and one brother, She is oldest in the family. Her parents are farmer owning half hectare of farmland. The family is able to collect 1,5tons of rice per year, If rice good, which is just enough to provide the family with food per year. when the farming season is over. Srey Von’s parents work as fisher man for make food. Additionally, the family owns has 3 cows for plow their rice field,
Srey Von gets 1000 Riels a day for her studies, and rides her bike to school every day. Somaly is a hard worker and is always a good student in class. After school, Somaly is responsible to help her family with housework, and looking cow.
In the life future, SreyVon wants to be Khmer Teacher. She can pass on knowledge to the next generation. She wants to earn an income that can better support her family.
