Phea Ngor
Phea Ngor is 8 years old, a student in 3rd grade at The Ascham School community, in Poutaing village, Romney commune, Senmonorom district, Mondulkiri province.
There are 5 members in the family. Phea Ngor has one brother, one sister and her two parents. She is the second child in the family. Her father works as a well- digger in the village; he can earn $10 a day in a working day. Ngor’s mother is a housewife, staying home and looking after her children. The family is every poor and they have a half hectare of farmland. Her parents do not have enough money to buy school supplies for her study. However, they do not want to stop her from going school and always support her to study harder.
Phea Ngor wants to be a teacher because she wants to share knowledge and education to the students in her community as well as be able to help financial support to her family.
