To Be Selected

Pouk Sreypheap is 15 years old and she is a student who attends in 8th grade at The Rita Hochhauser School, which is located in Trakiet village, Champei commune, Bati district and Takeo province.

Pouk Sreypheap was born in 2003 at Trakiet village, Champei commune, Bati district and Takeo province. Sreypheap has gotten five siblings such as two brothers and three sisters including her. Sreypheap is the fourth child in the family.

Sreypheap commented that, her parents are farmers who have own farmland for one hectare for growing rice. They can earn between 300 to 350 US dollars from the rice harvesting every year. Anyhow, the amount of that income isn’t affordable to support her big family’s needs so they must grow a few types of crops for selling in order to get little revenue to patch up the family’s needs. The crops, which they like to grow are water green, spinaches and eggplants.

Sreypheap expressed that, in the future’s goal she wants to become a banking staff because she expects that working as the banking staff will be changed a standard of living of her family to be better than working as the farmer.
