Girls Be Ambitious

A program that enables girls who are unable to go to school due conditions of poverty to attend one of our rural schools and receive an education instead of having to work in the fields, do chores at home or take care of siblings.

To Be Selected

Klim is 15 years old the students in 8th grade at The Nozomi School # 348 donated by David Sneider and Naomi Pollock Family. Located: Khchass Village, Khchass Commune, Saut Nikum District and Siem Reap Province.

Her father passed away 3 years ago. Her mother name is Chan Sokha. She’s 41 years old and she’s a farmer. Klim is the fourth child in the family, with one older brother, two older sisters and one younger sister. Her family has no land so her mother doesn’t grow rice. Every day her mother works so hard at home like plant the vegetables around the house and sells at the market to get a little money. Sometime her mother ask her to stop from study and help her to earn money but Klim loves to study so she comes to school every day. Klim is a good student. After school, she goes home to help her parents with house work. In her free time, she likes to read the books and review the lessons from school and help mother to cook for her family and look after her sister.

Klim wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She wants to help all the poor kids like to come up in the future and the most she wants to earn money to support her family to be better in the future.
