Ti La Lyn is a third grade student at the school. She is ten years old. She has four brothers and three sisters. Her father is a motorcycle taxi driver.

In Their Own Words. . . 

“I like school because I like to see her friends and to learn.”

on her favorite subject:  “Mathematics is my favorite subject because I like numbers.”
on her hobbies: “I like to play ‘balle koup’ with my friends.”
(‘Balle koup’ is a Khmer game similar to baseball where the children throw a ball and try to run around bases.)
on when she grows up: “When I grow up, I want to be a teacher.”
on her new school building: “I really like my new school.”
