Girls Be Ambitious

A program that enables girls who are unable to go to school due conditions of poverty to attend one of our rural schools and receive an education instead of having to work in the fields, do chores at home or take care of siblings.

Ath Sreimom

Sreimom is 15 years old and she is a student in grade 9 at The Green Family School in Takeo province, Kirivung district, Angbrasat commune, Angbrasat village.

There are five members in her family. She has got one father, three brothers and her. Sreimom is youngest child in her family. Her mother died since she was young. Her family is poor and her father is a farmer. He has one hectare, which can produce between 3,000 kg of rice a year and sold for 2000kg, get 500$ for support a whole family in per year but this still not enough and they are keeping some rice for daily eating in a whole year. However this is only the ideal output because they need to barter for fertilizer and other expenditures during the farming process, but the family still lives in poverty. Her father has not enough money to buy the school supplies during she is studying. She always walks to school and comes back. After school she always to do house work because her father is busy with his work.

Sreimom would likes to a teacher when she grows up. She loves an employment very much. Moreover, she wants to teach all the students in the rural villages to have higher knowledge to become center-row of the nation and also progress the nation towards perfect human resource. Furthermore, She would loves to earn money to support her family in the future when she is going to succeed in her aspiration.
