Kak Sina is 11 years old and she is a student in the 5th grade at the Cambodia Hope School in Melum village, Melum commune, Baribour district, Kampong Chhnang province.
Sina has one younger brother and one younger sister. Her father’s name is Sovan Ratana and he is a cow / buffalo trader. Her mother’s name is Doem Sothy and she is a housewife. The family does not own any farmland. Her father trades cattle, earning 100,000 to 200,000 riel in a day for support his family expense such as buy food cloths, schoo supplies and other expense but it isn’t enough . Her father’s eyes is not good and he cannot see everything clearly and her sister also had eye problems as well.
Sina is a good student and daughter. She works hard in class, and when she is not studying, she is helping her mother with housework.
In the future she wants to become a doctor because the wants to cure her father and her sister’s eyes to see a beautiful world and she would likes to support her famiy to live in a better life.
