Khat Synat is 16 years old, and she is in grade 9 at Pras Chi Sok Van Seconary School, in Krol Chil village, Popel Commune, Boribo District, Kompong Chhnang Province.
Synat lives with sisters on aunt’s land. She has three sisters and one brother, and she is youngest child in her family. Her father has a new wife, when her mother was die. She is very poor. she doesn’t have farmland. He never look after her. So her aunt look after them. Synat go to school on foot. Synat walks to study about 25 minute. She is a slow learner. But She still study hard. Her aunt always support her like: Cloths, school thing and sometime she rides with her cousin. In free time, she helps to guard buffalos and harvest rice her aunt. She planting a little vegetables for eat.
In the future Synat wants to be a English teacher. Then she finished in grade 12. Because she likes to study English, and she wants to share to other students. Moreover, she wants to earn an income that can better support her family and for her job.
