Sarith Sreynuth is a 13-year-old student in 6th grade at The Ascham School which is in the Putang village, Romnear commune, Senmonorom district, and Mondulkiri province.
She is the first child in the family. Her parents have a very small business at home, and on top of that, her father must sell vegetables around the village by his motorcycle to cover daily expenses. However, the income from their small business is not enough to support their families. Sarith Sreynuth promises that with the $10 every month, she will study hard and will use that money to patch up her studies.
In the future, she wants to become a seller. Most importantly though, she would like to support her family and give them an opportunity to live a better life.
