Girls Be Ambitious

A program that enables girls who are unable to go to school due conditions of poverty to attend one of our rural schools and receive an education instead of having to work in the fields, do chores at home or take care of siblings.

Terb Hear

Terb Hear is 11 years old student in 4th grade at The Ascham School, which is located in Putang village, Romnear commune, Senmonorom district, and Mondulkiri province.

The first child in the family. Her parents are farmers. Her parents have one hectare of farmland for growing rice and raising chicken and a pig.

Her parents have gathered 500 kilograms of rice per year but the rice products could not afford the family for a whole year because her parents have to sell some rice and sell some vegetables to pay back to the fertilizers vendor.

Moreover, her parents got the low prices of selling rice and vegetables so it was inadequate sources to afford the needs such as clothes, uniforms and school supplies, etc… She promised that if she will be supported for $10 every month she will try to study harder and she will use that money to patch up for her study.

In the future, she wants to become a doctor because she wants to cure all the people in her location and she thinks that her location is far from the hospital. Moreover, she wants to earn the money to support her family.
