Chan Sreyna is a second-grade student at the O Koki Kandal School
| On herself: | I am thirteen years old. I have three brothers and two sisters. My father is a lumberjack. He cuts trees into planks for construction and sells them. My mother is a housewife. Our house is right by the school.

| On the new building: | I am very happy with the new school. I like studying here because I have many friends in the class and my house is very close. If this school were not here I would have had to go to another school far away from home.

| Favorite subject: | Khmer, because it’s easy to read. I like it also because our teacher shows us a lot of pictures in the class.

| On her spare time: | I wash dishes and sweep the floor. I also go to get water to be put in the water jar and feed our chickens.
|
| In the future: | I want to work at a factory to support my family.
|
| What if your family had money? If we had enough money, I would invest some of that money in something I could later sell, like pigs and chickens. |
