On the new building: | “I am very happy with the new school building because it is easy for my son to study there.”

On her family: | “I have a daughter and a son. My daughter stopped studying after third grade to help me. She just got married. My son is 15 and in fourth grade at the school. My husband passed away in 1990 fighting with the Khmer Rouge.”

On her son’s future: | “I hope that my son will get a good job because I am trying to push him to get an education. I see that he likes to read and draw pictures.”
