The Cambodia Rural School Project
The Prek Am Nippon
Foundation School
Mr. Chhom Khay is the chief of the village where the Prek Am Nippon Foundation School is located
On himself: | I am fifty-five years old and have eight children. Three of my grandchildren attend this school. My wife and I are both farmers. I have also served as the village chief here for the past ten years.

On the new building: | When the new school was built, I was very happy. I helped organize it so that we put up a fence around the school. The building motivates students to come and study every day, and so we want to keep it for a long time.
The old school was so old that we were afraid that the wind might blow it over (and it actually did). |
