In Their Own Words. . .

On being a teacher  “I became a teacher in 1991. I am very happy being a teacher, even though my salary is small. I like teaching because I want kids to have wisdom which enables them to find good jobs easily.”

On taking care of the school  “Since the school has received solar panels, all of the teachers and students have taken action to protect everything in the school, including the furniture.”

On computer lessons  “In the future our school will be provided a computer. The other teachers and I expect the students at this school to gain new knowledge studying computer and English skills. Personally, I would like very much to study computer, also.”

Message to Akiko Okayama  “I would like to express my deepest thanks to Akiko Okayama, the donor who helped our village. I have never seen a school as nice as ours before.”
