The Ann Morrison School

(November, 2001)

Mrs. Nhep Mean is a farmer living near the Ann Morrison School.

In Their Own Word

On her family: “I have eight children, two of whom are attending class at the new school.  Three more are married and the other three are studying at the local secondary school.

On the new building: “I think that the new school building has developed this village, because it is the good place for the kids to come to learn.  Before, this village never had school buildings like this.  I hope that the kids in the village try to study harder because they have this new building.  I like it very much and I think it looks pleasant.”

Message for the donor: “I would like to thank the generous donors of this school building because they have provided a nice new school building for our children to study in.  I would like to wish them good health and longevity.”
