On himself:
I am fourteen years old. I have six siblings, and four are at school with me. I am the second oldest of my siblings. My parents are both farmers. My mother also sells fish, coke and several other products at home.
On the new building:
I am very happy with the new school. I want to learn here. I liked the old school, too, maybe because I didn’t know any other school. We used to have some problems whenever the rain came in and disturbed the class, making me and my books wet.
Favorite subject:
Science and Khmer. I like science because I like to discover. I like exploring caves.
In his spare time:
I do my homework and then play soccer. I play with my friends and siblings. I also help my parents carry water and wash clothes.
On exploring caves:
I explore the caves around here by myself. There are only small caves here. In the cave I once found a rock that looks like a bird. I also found others that looked like a crocodile, elephant, and an angel.
In the future:
Farmer. If I could do anything, I’d like to be a driver or a pilot.
If he could travel anywhere:
I’d like to visit Angkor Wat. I want to see the statues.
