Mrs. Samreth Hun, mother of four students at the school.  (August, 2001)

Mrs. Samreth Hun is a villager living near the school. She is 46 years old and has several children studying at the school.

In Their Own Words. . .

On herself and her family:  “I am working for the village Red Cross and my house is about 1 km from school. I have one son and three daughters learning at this school.  My 10-year-old son, eight- and five-year-old daughters are all in first grade at the school.  My eldest daughter is 13 and she is in third grade.”

On the new building: “This new school building has improved the situation of the people here because if there was no school building people would be more ignorant.”

Message for donor:  “I am very thankful to The Nippon Foundation organization that provided this school for our next generations.”
