Mr. Hok Seam is the director of The Janna Roeters (2000-08-25) School
He has been teaching since 1980 and a school director since 1987. Mr. Hok is forty-eight years old. His wife is a farmer and they have five children. One of his children is studying in the third grade of The Janna Roeters (2000-08-25) School
| On the new building: | I am very happy for the new building, because it will help the students learn. The classrooms are made with the students’ best interest in mind. The old school was made of wood and had started sagging to one side. When we were inside the classroom, we were always worried the building would collapse. Now, the students can concentrate on learning.

| On floods: | Whenever it floods, the water will rise until it is about a meter over dry land. During those times, the students come to school in boats.

| On encouraging students: | Oftentimes, the best students receive gifts from their teacher. We try to inspire them to study more, without the help of artificial means. Also, we cannot really afford to give gifts.
