Mrs.Peng Saran is a teacher at the Kan Tourt Nippon Foundation School.
She has been a teacher for two years.
| On herself: | “I teach third grade. Besides teaching, I farm. I am single and live with my parents who are farmers. My house is only 200 meters away from school. I come here on foot.”

| On the new building: | “I am very happy with the new building because it provides safety for the children of this village. It is much better than the old one because we no longer have to worry that the rain would disturb classes. It has a computer and a new teacher, who is teaching computing and English.”
