Mr. Pouk San, the fifth grade teacher (July, 2001)

Mr. Pouk San is the fifth grade teacher at The Kikkoman School.
He is 25 years old, single, and lives with his parents.

In Their Own Words. . .

On the new building “I have never seen a building like this before.”

On earning a living “Besides teaching, I earn money by taking photographs of those living in poverty.  I live with my parents and we have 10 family members living together, so we need the income.”

On the computer teaching program “Most of the students could not afford to study computers without this program.  It is a good opportunity for them.  I hope that the students will be able to gain knowledge of computers and that they will then be able to use it.”

Message to the donor “I am deeply thankful to The Kikkoman Corporation for both building the new building and hopefully providing the computer and teacher in the future.”
