Meng Srey Puch is an 11-year-old girl. She is studying in third grade. In the end of year rankings, she was sixth among the 58 children in her class. In Their Own Words

On the new building: “Before this school was built, I had to walk to the old school building.  It was far from my house, and on the way, I had to cross National Road 6, with cars and trucks driving quickly down the road.  Now I don’t have to worry about having an accident.  So I am very happy with the new building because it is close and much safer to go to school.”

On school subjects: “I like learning Khmer and mathematics.  I dislike social studies and applied science.”

On her future: “I would like to be a nurse or doctor.”

Message for donor: “I would like to express my deep thanks to the donors for building the new school and for providing various types of games to my friends and me.”
