Chhe Sok Kuoy, a 15-year old 4th grade student at
the O Tapong Nippon Foundation School.

Chhe Sok Kuoy is a 15-year old 4th grade student at the new school. She is currently ranked number 1 among her 42 classmates first semester of this year. She has two sisters and three brothers. One sister and one brother attend the new school. Her parents are farmers in the village. Her family has collected about 1.5 tons of rice from the fields that they own.

“I like to study math more than any other subject because I am good at it. I got a score of 10 out of 10 in this subject during the first semester exam.”

“I attend school in the morning, help my family by grazing the eight cows my parents own in the afternoon, and study at home in the evening by myself.”

“I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I vow to continue my studies unto the university level.”
