Mr. Kao Roeun is a villager nearby the Kandal Nippon Foundation School. He is 25 years old.

I’m a farmer, and so is my wife. We have two daughters, but they haven’t started school yet because they’re too young. I’ve been living in this village for the past ten years.

| On the new building:

I am very happy that this village got a new school building. I used to study at the old school when I was younger. The villagers built the old school. It used palm leaves for walls, and they had many holes in them. Now that we have a school in this village again, many of the children won’t have to walk as far in order to get to school anymore. More parents are also sending their students to school because this school is nearer to their houses and new.
